Mrs Ward could hardly contain her excitement at the prospect of handing out a fresh set of her amazing prizes at Bingo Night! This is an annual event at High Vinnalls, tied in with a 'Taster Night' where day children who haven't boarded before have the chance to 'have a go' at boarding. After a delicious supper served by our wonderful Lucie we had some time for the boarders to entertain their guests before we began the highlight of the evening. Mr Ward and Mr Hull (who must have been professional bingo callers in a previous life) led proceedings, whilst Mrs Ward stood, poised, waiting to award the first prize of the evening! The children all had great fun and as usual, our regular boarders did a great job of looking after everyone. There was a tuck break in between games and at the end of the evening all of Mrs Ward's 'special' prizes had gone! It was a fantastic evening - thank you to all of those who came to visit us!
