Welcome to the first blog at HV, Bath's Best Boarding House!
So, what have we been up to in the last week (apart from working hard that is!)? Well, Saturday saw us visit Cotswold Water Park and the weather was HOT. A quick dip in the lake and a play in the sand pit soon cooled us off before it was time to get in the pedalo boats and splash each other until we were soaked through - just what the doctor ordered! Mr. Ward kept on going round in circles, Mrs. Ward was being chauffeured around as if she was Queen for the day and the rest of the 'family' were intent on causing as much water mayhem as possible - great fun.
The water theme continued on Sunday when High Vinnalls hosted it's very own water fight with pistols and bombs included! Again, the weather was just right and everyone didn't mind getting soaked - even Mr. Hull was getting involved (whilst Mrs. Ward and Mrs. Hull were taking the pictures!)
Wacky Wednesday tonight took us to Victoria Park for a picnic and a play. We had so much fun and everyone played really nicely with each other - it really was great to witness one big happy family with smiles on their faces - just look for yourself!
This weekend sees us design our own picnic menu, go shopping for the ingredients and make and bake the delicious food before eating it on the Sunday when we visit Barry Island - please let the weather be nice! Come back and visit the blog on Saturday and Sunday to see how we fared...
