The Bath Bus Tour...

Saturday brought more excitement at Bath's Best Boarding House as the children experienced a trip around Bath on an open topped bus, taking in both the City and Skyline Tours. It was great to be able to see all that happens around our wonderful city from up above, especially on a day when Bath was bustling with visitors as a result of Bath RFC playing at home, Open Day at Bath University and a special Jane Austen Day. The children were able to listen to a guide speaking about the places that we visited which added to the occasion.

Scavenging around High Vinnalls...

The second Wacky Wednesday of the term and we were again blessed with sunshine which meant we could roam around outside in our beautiful surroundings. The theme this time around was to find things around the grounds - something brown, something shiny, something with a hole in it and the list went on and on. The children set off in pairs and hurtled around at great speed looking for things that might fit the bill. Once this was completed it was time for Bath's Best Boarders to use their imaginations and creative skills as they each produced a piece of garden art that was to hang from the trees in the boarders' garden. Another great night at Bath's Best Boarding House and roll on the weekend when it will be time to go on the Bath Bus Tour and visit Dyrham Park....

Bath's Best Boarders meet Frozen...

It is amazing who you meet sometimes - Bath can throw at you all kinds of people; brilliant buskers, the Pigeon Man, the statues that move. And the lovely princesses from Frozen! We saw them all when we went in to Bath on Sunday for some retail therapy. We visited Claire's Accessories, Game, Hawkin's Bazaar but best of all we all went to Shakeaway! Take a look for yourself...

An evening at Victoria Park? Why not...

After a busy day at school and with their heads full of subjects and timetables and what to take on what day, what better way to relax than venturing off to Victoria Park for a bit of a runaround and some fun. The meal beforehand was delicious (a choice of macaroni cheese or grilled piri-piri pork...mmmmm...) and we all needed to expend some energy and work off the meal. There were slides, swings, climbing frames, digging equipment and more and the hour went by so quickly but the children definitely enjoyed themselves - have a look for yourself.......
