Kaboom! Pow! Blast! Theme Night at Bath's Best Boarding House!

We had great fun on Wednesday night as we embarked on our termly theme night - Superheroes!
There was a super supper with Avengers Pizza, Hulk Jelly and Captain America Cupcakes to name a few culinary delights. After being stuffed full of food the boarders took on several superhero challenges - and art and craft based one, a Spiderman challenge and then finally 'pin the crest' on Batman! We all had a blast!

A Trip to Bristol Museum and Art Gallery

The High Vinnalls boarders enjoyed a lovely weekend. They visited the cinema on Saturday to see Hotel Transylvania 2 which I am told, is better that number 1! On Sunday they went with Mr Murphy and Mrs Fox to Bristol Museum and Art Gallery and had a super time looking at all of the exhibits. Have a look at the pictures - Mr Murphy clearly isn't camera shy!

Climbing High at Bath's Best Boarding House

The HV boarders returned from the half term break in fine form. Their first weekend in the house saw them 'chillax' whilst making friendship bracelets, visit a local church to attend a Remembrance Service, have a play in the park and then climb the dizzy heights of the senior school sports hall! We have also celebrated Fireworks Night - how convenient to have the school display in our 'back garden'! On Monday we were treated to a talk by Kevin Hicks aka 'The History Man' who gave an insight into life in the trenches during the World Wars. My word....this is only one week of life at Bath's Best Boarding House - there are more exciting events happening over the course of term...how will we ever fit school in?!
