Wacky Wednesday at home...

At Home Night is always a favourite as the children make the rules! After doing all the necessary 'jobs' (showering, packing bags, making phone calls etc.), Bath's Best Boarding House's residents settled down to listening to or playing music, playing on the Wii or their own electronics or trying to beat Mr. Hull at snooker...!

Arts & Crafts Day at Bath's Best Boarding House...

After the fresh air on Saturday, it was time to use our creative side on Sunday as Mrs. Baumgardt and Dr. Wood came in and showed everyone how to print onto t-shirts, draw on mini canvases and best of all...make ninjas out of pipe-cleaners!! Have a look for yourself...

A stress-free Saturday at High Vinnalls...

Saturday was very much a time for relaxing and enjoying the grounds surrounding High Vinnalls. The weather was pleasant enough for everyone to spend some time outside - whether it was on the tree platform, the trampoline or building dens in the grounds. It really was a great day!

Friday Night Film Night at High Vinnalls...

Friday nights are film nights at High Vinnalls and on this occasion we had some guests who were experiencing boarding for the first time. Our 'veteran' boarders looked after them superbly and everyone enjoyed the film of choice...

It is a relaxed weekend today and tomorrow after a busy night on Thursday when our Year 6 boarders played the O2 Arena in London and arrived back in Bath at 2am...they are living the rock and roll lifestyle already! Check back in on Sunday evening to see what they have been up to...

Loom Band Challenge...have you got what it takes?

This Wednesday saw Mrs. Ward set the boarders a challenge - one hour to create the longest Loom Band you could on your own! This was such a great evening, not just because loom band making takes much manual dexterity (which Mr. Ward certainly didn't have but Mr. Hull did!), but because everyone sat down and talked to each other for a whole hour about lots of different subjects and it was just a great social occasion. At the end of it all, there could only be one winner however...and another one of Mrs. Ward's special prizes was given out (can you guess what it was???)
