The boarders had a super time at the senior school for Wacky Wednesday. They went into the sports hall and played lots of games as well as having an opportunity to use the climbing wall under Mr Hull's careful tuition.
This week also sees Mrs Hull start her maternity leave in preparation for the arrival of Baby No.2! The boarders presented her with some beautiful flowers and then we offered some suggestions of names.....Colin and Gertrude seemed to be top choice! We will wait to hear if the Hulls think our suggestions are any good!
Advent and Christmas activities will be underway at the weekend and we are all looking forward to our Roald Dahl Theme Night on Wednesday. Watch this space for more news!

Bath's Best Boarding House 'Flips Out' this weekend!
The HV boarders were treated to a Saturday evening at the local trampoline park - Flip Out! It was great fun, with disco music, flashing lights and even dry ice.....it was like a trip back to the 90s for Mr and Mrs Ward! There was so much bouncing to be done as well as some acrobatics into the foam pit.
On Sunday it was a little quieter, with a trip to the Roman Baths to soak up some local history.

Amazing activities at Bath's Best Boarding House
Since returning from a lovely half term break, the HV boarders have been immersed in amazing activities both at school and at 'home'. We have a had an amazing fireworks night, a cycle cross event, a trip to Cribbs Causeway as well as a visit to the remembrance parade in Bath. Ryan had the opportunity to dress up as a World War 1 soldier during a talk by the 'History Man', Kevin Hicks. Last night saw our Year 6 boarders take part in a Shakespeare evening
where they had learnt their parts for A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was
truly spectacular to see such young children reciting such difficult
lines. There are lots of pictures attached so you can see what fun we
have had!
